These exhibitions were also presented in Kraków, Łódź, Jelenia Góra, Legnica and Krosno. The choice of Wrocław as the venue for the European Glass Festival was not accidental. The history of glass in Poland is closely connected with the area of Lower Silesia – glassworks were created here in the Middle Ages. It is also at the E. Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław that Poland’s only Department of Ceramics and Glass has been operating since 1950. And it is in Lower Silesia: in Wrocław, Jelenia Góra, and Kłodzko, that there are museum collections of historic and contemporary glass, and just 100 km from Wrocław the world famous Studio Borowski is located.

Smålands Museum - Swedish Glass Museum Smalands Museum and the Swedish Glass Museum are two museums under the same roof. The Swedish Glass Museum presents glass from all over the world and through all times. Let yourself be enchanted by the oldest Swedish glass, dating back to the 1580s. The collection includes everything from the royal cups and simple bottles of the 17th and 18th centuries to the bourgeois crystal and the farmers’ pressed glass of the 19th century. World famous design from the 20th century and contemporary Swedish glass.

CORNING MUSEUM OF GLASS

THE CORNING MUSEUM OF GLASS (US) is a not-for-profit museum dedicated to exploring a single material: glass. The Museum's campus is home to the world’s most comprehensive collection of glass, the world’s foremost library on glass, and one of the top glassworking schools in the world.

In addition, the Museum regularly publishes journals, educational videos and scholarly publications—many of which can be accessed on its content-rich website.

The Corning Museum of Glass was involved from concept to reality in the new NETFLIX competition series about glassblowing - Blown Away.
