English guide about request online articles from The Royal Library

How to request an article

How to!

Always sign in to request an article. It is important that you are signed in to the Library's search system bib.kglakademi.dk in order to request an article. It is also important that you have the right patron group, either KA ansatte, DKDS ansatte or KONS ansatte.

You sign in with the same username and password that you already use to sign in to The Royal Danish Academy's network. Sign in is at the top right corner.

To see if you have the right patron group, you click on Library Card under your name at the top right corner and then Personal Details. If you don't have the correct patron group you need to contact the Library at bibliotek@kglakademi.dk.

When you make your search, and made sure you are logged in and have activated the 'Include items without full text access' you will find articles with 'No Online Access'.

If you click on one of these articles you will be able to find a button 'Order article from The Royal Library'.

Click on 'Order article from The Royal Library' next to the article you wish to request and fill in the field with your academy e-mail and click Submit.
